An angry man pulled out his weapon and fired several shots Thursday night at Second Street Agricola, East Bank Demerara killing 34-year-old Kaycee Da Silva and wounding his friend Seon Bobb, 24.
Police said that the suspect was involved in a fight during which Da Silva and Bobb laughed at him, however, this reportedly infuriated the suspect who was given a handgun by a male sibling and he allegedly discharged the weapon indiscriminately at the victims.
The friends were rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Hospital; Da Silva was pronounced dead on arrival whilst Bobb was treated and transferred to the GPHC.
His condition is said to be stable.
