A 21-year-old resident of lot 29 West Watooka, Wismar, Linden was on Friday murdered after he spilled alcohol on a man at an event in the mining town.
According to a statement from the police, Leonard Peters called ‘Lenny’ was at a social event at lot 6 West Watooka where it is alleged that he “accidentally spilled alcohol” on a resident of the area.
This resulted in a physical confrontation and at around 22:00hrs, Peters was observed bleeding from a wound in the left side chest.
He was rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex where he died while receiving medical attention.
The suspects known by the aliases “Giddie and Gaza” are being sought, the police said.
