President meets with Cabinet, security team

President David Granger this morning met with members of his Cabinet and members of the National Security Committee (NSC) at the Ministry of the Presidency days after his Government collapsed with the passage of a No Confidence motion in the National Assembly.

The President has not appeared in public since he returned to Guyana on December 11 from his second round of chemotherapy for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a form of cancer.

He is scheduled to leave on Christmas Day for his third round of treatment.

President David Granger, this morning, met with members of the National Security Committee (NSC) at the Ministry of the Presidency.
