A fight between two young women over a boy ended with a young student nurse in police custody after she allegedly poured boiling water on the other woman on Friday night at Tank Street, Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden.
News Room was reliably informed that D. Phillips, a student nurse attached to the Charles Rosa School of Nursing, visited the man’s house when the other woman, S. Bynoe, also arrived at the same time.
It is alleged that the young Phillips became jealous and attacked Bynoe with a pot of hot water fused with salt.
Bynoe received burns to several parts of her body.
Phillips has been arrested as Police continue their investigation. (Colwyn Abrams)
