The body of 58-year-old Cedrick Riley, who was reported missing since January 10, was found on Saturday at a rice field in Better Hope, Essequibo Coast.
News Room understands that the discovery was made at around 6:00hrs by a 22-year-old man.
Riley, of Dartmouth, Essequibo Coast was positively identified by his niece, who recognised his clothing.
News Room understands that the man left home at about 04:00hrs on January 10 to go and throw fertilizer at Dartmouth back dam but he never returned home.
The body is at the Suddie Hospital awaiting a Post Mortem-Examination.
