The Zeeburg Community Centre ground is the venue for a 10/10 softball cricket competition open to teams across the country.
The event is being coordinated by Community Policing Groups and is endorsed by former West Indies ace batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul.
Set to bowl off on February 9 and end with the final under floodlights on March 3, the competition has over $400,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.
One of the organisers, Vick Manbodh, pointed out that they are aiming to get at least 20 teams. Interested teams are required to pay an entrance fee of $15,000 and the deadline for submission of entries is February 5.
