A 44-year-old man from Belle West, West Bank Demerara is now in police custody after he was found with five boys at his home Thursday.
Commander of ‘D’ Division, Edmond Cooper, told News Room that the boys are aged 12 to 17.
The five boys were medically examined and signs of forced penetration were confirmed, Commander Cooper said.
The Commander said the man lived alone and according to his knowledge there were no reports of child molestation from the village.
Angry residents from the village of Belle West ripped the shack to pieces and burnt the material.
