Trinidad and Tobago Red Force batted all day to defy Guyana Jaguars on day two of the regional Four-day clash at Queen’s Park Oval.

Resuming the day on 13-0 and trailing by 29 runs, Red Force closed the day on a solid 264-5, an overall lead of 222 with five wickets remaining and two days to play.

Jason Mohammed is eyeing a hundred, he’s on 79, and with him is Imran Khan on 40 in a partnership so far worth 83. The partnership has basically swung the game in Red Force favour, as the Jaguars failed to make inroads into the lower order.

Jeremy Solozano (45) and Joshua Da Silva (49) added an opening stand of 84 to put Red Force on a solid footing, but they lost wickets regularly thereafter, slipping to 181-5.

After the openers departed, Tion Webster (8), Denesh Ramdin (10) and Yannic Cariah (15) all went cheaply. Raymon Reifer has taken 2-32 so far.

Scores in the match: Red Force 108 and 264-5; Jaguars 150.
