A 64-year-old man was found dead by residents in South Amelia’s Ward, Linden Thursday afternoon.
He was identified as John Errol Stewart Small of Lot 927 South Amelia’s Ward, Linden, who was reported missing at around 12:30hrs on February 5 by his relatives.
Police Commander for ‘E’ Division, Superintendent Linden Lord told News Room that the man was found lying under an Awarra tree in an open field.
News Room understands that Mr Small usually wanders the community and so when he left home and did not return, his relatives did not take it seriously.
A post mortem examination on Friday morning found that he died from heart failure.
Mr Small lived with other siblings and was the father of nine children.
