The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation has announced its 12-man squad to compete in the FIBA AmeriCup Qualifier, billed for February 22-24 in Colombia. Guyana has qualified to play in Group B alongside the host nation, Bolivia and Paraguay.
The squad that includes both local and overseas-based players reads: Harold Adams, Travis Belgrave, Travis Burnett, Orlon Glasgow, Delroy James, Gordon James, Anthony Moe, Stanton Rose, Yonnick Tappin, Timothy Thompson, Shaine Webster and Kevon Wiggins.
The officials are Coach Andrew Hercules, Assistant Coach Dennis Clarke and Manager Alex Graham.
The final combination of players was decided after weekend trials were held at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, under the supervision of Coach Hercules.
