Reigning Miss Bikini champion of the National Senior Bodybuilding championship, Chandini Khan, is looking to build on the gains made in 2018.
Looking ahead to the new season, the Georgetown lass of Fitness Paradise Gym has her eyes set on a successful title defence, as well as her inaugural participation in the region’s most prestigious bodybuilding event, the Central American and Caribbean Championship.
It was on her maiden outing last year that Chandini copped the Miss Bikini title, and the 26-year-old is currently putting in the hours to ensure she fortifies her position at the top of the local pile.
Her rapid progress in the sport is being monitored by trainer Omar Hope.
While admitting the sport has defined her both figuratively and literally, Chandini also has the tall task of securing the necessary funding to guarantee participation in the CAC Championship in Puerto Rico in July.
It’s a bugbear most Guyanese face, but Chandini is determined fulfill her dream of regional glory.
Chandini is also edifying herself in the areas of nutrition and personal training, as she also plans to help persons desirous of adopting a fitness-oriented lifestyle.
