Grove man died from heart failure – PME finds

A post mortem examination conducted on the body of Rayon Angel, who was found dead in his Grove, East Bank Demerara home last Wednesday, revealed that he died from heart failure due to blockage of the arteries.

The post mortem was conducted Friday morning by Government Pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh.

The 32-year-old father of two was found dead in his house at Lot 343 3^rd Street, Grove East Bank Demerara after his mother tried contacting him for two days.

On the same day, she called his workplace and was told that he did not report for work.

As a result, the father visited the home and when calls went unanswered, Angel’s brother broke open the door and found his lifeless body.

The young man was employed at the Guyana Shore Base for about a year. Neighbours said a few days before his body was found, Angel’s wife left him following a disagreement.
