A 68-year-old man Le Penitence, Georgetown man who was in the habit of wrongfully blaming his neighbours for loud music has himself been arrested for noise nuisance and for giving false statements to Police.

Dennis McDonald was placed before City Magistrate Leron Daly and slapped with two counts of making a false report at the Le Penitence Police Station. He pleaded not guilty.

Police claimed that on two separate occasions – January 29 and February 9 last – he gave false statements to the Police.

According to reports, McDonald is in the habit of playing his music set loudly in the La Penitence area and would disturb his neighbours.

However, when the Police are called in, he blames the neighbours for making the noise.

The Police, however, after investigating, managed to arrest McDonald for noise nuisance.

Police Prosecutor, Adduni Inniss made no objection to McDonald being granted bail.

Magistrate Daly released McDonald on $40,000 bail and adjourned the matter until March 1, 2019.
