A Businessman of Samaroo Dam, Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara (WBD) was on Saturday arrested after he reportedly threatened a butcher.
Police in a statement said the suspect was apprehended in his motor car in the vicinity of the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station. A search of the vehicle revealed an unlicensed pistol with eight live rounds.
He is being processed for court. Police headquarters did not reveal his name.
