Linden man shot by ‘Spile Child’

A 28-year-old shop vendor of Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden is in a stable condition at the Linden Hospital nursing two gunshot wounds after a man known as ‘Spile Child’ opened fire on him Tuesday morning.

News Room understands that Marvin Somersoll was doing his laundry at around 9:00hrs in his yard when the suspect Teion Allen showed up with two guns and started shooting indiscriminately.

Somersoll was shot to his right side foot just above his knee and to his left side foot just above his ankle. The suspect escaped.

Information reaching News Room revealed that the suspect and Somersoll’s 17-year-old brother had a misunderstanding on February 23 where it is alleged that the suspect beat the teenager.

It is alleged that on Monday afternoon, the suspect went to the Somersolls’ home and asked for the teenager when Marvin enquired about the issue between the two but the suspect left.

However, he returned Tuesday morning and allegedly carried out the attack.

Police investigations are ongoing.
