A fire on Tuesday afternoon completely destroyed the Regional Democratic Stores Bond in First Avenue Bartica, Region 7.
Regional Chairman Gordon Bradford told News Room that fire started sometime around 13:00hrs and that no one was injured.
He said the employees were traumatized as a result of the huge fire and were sent to seek treatment at the Bartica Hospital.
“Nobody was seriously injured, nobody died and the fire is under control,” the Regional Chairman said.
The bond housed fuel and lubricants, office stationaries and a few pieces of machinery for the region.
The Regional Chairman was unable to estimate the loss.
