Liat, the Caribbean Airline, has signed on as Guyana Carnival’s official regional airline for the second year in a row, a statement from the Carnival Committee revealed Wednesday.
According to the statement, Liat operates high-frequency inter-island scheduled services serving 15 destinations in the Caribbean.
“The carrier has partnered with the managing committee where there will be costume promotions along with a 20% discount for persons travelling during the Carnival season slated for May 17th – 27th.”

Liat Airline will also be hosting their signature event “Liat Touchdown” which will be held on May 19th .
Guyana Carnival 2019 will be a combination of boat rides, breakfast parties, cooler fetes, jouverts, day tours and a grand Independence Day Parade set for May 26th.
Some of the most famous and requested soca and dancehall artistes, both international and local, will be performing such as Buju Banton, Machel Montano, Shenseea, Kes, Destra, Patrice, Farmer Nappy, Nailah Blackman, Voice, Timeka Marshall, Big Red, Brandon Harding, Adrian Dutchin, Jumo Primo and many more to be added.
