‘Pretty boy’ accused of robbing man of $900,000

Edward Skeete, a 32-year-old, who was acquitted of a murder charge last year, appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess Tuesday accused of armed robbery.

Skeete called ‘Pretty Boy’ pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on March 31st ,2019 at Lombard Street, while being in the company of others and armed with guns, he robbed Zayne Fenderson of $900,000 in cash.

Skeete of Independence Boulevard, Albouystown, Georgetown, was represented by Attorney George Thomas.

He was remanded to prison until April 18, 2019.

Police Prosecutor Vivian Adolph told the court that on the day in question, the victim was sitting in a route 42 minibus when he was attacked by Skeete and another man. The victim was shot to his leg and relieved of the money.

Skeete was arrested and positively identified by the victim.

Last year, Skeete was freed of a murder charge by Justice Navindra Singh at the High Court for the July 2015 murder of Ryan Clementson.
