Demerara Mutual Life Insurance Company continues to be in corner of Leon Seaton Jr. by pledging part sponsorship of G$100,000 to the young swimmer ahead of his trip to the CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Barbados from April 19-24.

At the simple presentation done recently at the company’s Robb and Avenue of the Republic location, Marketing Manager Clarence Perry noted that the company is proud of Seaton Jr.’s consistent performances and they are elated to continue the partnership, which started in 2013.

Additionally, Perry noted that the company believes that investing in sport is a good way of fostering wholesome development. Further, he disclosed that the company is looking to continue supporting Seaton Jr. in his quest for excellence.

A grateful Seaton expressed his gratitude to the Insurance Company for assisting him in pursuing his CARIFTA dreams.

He qualified to the championships with five ‘A’ standard times and one ‘B’ standard time. Other members of the team include Noel Rakewon, Nathan Jackson, Aleka Persaud and siblings Patrice and Paul Mahaica.
