Under 15 cricketers commence quest for regional supremacy

Guyana’s Under-15 team will commence their efforts to secure the 2019 Regional Under-15 title from  Saturday when they oppose Jamaica in Antigua.
The 14-man squad is being coached by Cricket West Indies Level 3 coach, Julian Moore and Managed by Latchman Yadram.
Their second round match will be against Barbados at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on April 14,  followed by a clash against Windward Island at Coolidge Cricket ground on April 16.

Fourth round commences on April 18 against Leeward Island at Ball Beef Ground and the final round on April 20 against Trinidad and Tobago in Liberta.

The Guyanese players departed Thursday and benefited from exposure in the Under-17 Inter County Tournament.

Guyana last won the Regional Under-15 title in 2015.

The Guyana team: Zachary Jodah (Captain), Mavendra Dindyal (Vice Captain), Isai Thorne, Jadon Campbell, Omari Lallbachan, Anthony Khan, Tameshwar Mahadeo, Alvin Mohabir, Ravishkar Sobhai, Jonathan Van Lange, Kresna Singh, Mathew Pottaya, Thaddeus Loveell, Rampertab Ramnauth.
