Sandra Angela Profitt, a 55-year-old woman of John Fernandes Drive West Ruimveldt Georgetown was busted on Monday at the Eugene F Correia International Airport, Ogle East Coast Demerara with 3.378 kilograms (7.4 lbs) of cocaine.
News Room understands that Profitt was sitting in the departure area waiting to board a LIAT flight destined for Barbados when she was intercepted by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU).
CANU in a statement said the suspected cocaine was duct taped to each of her upper thighs.
