Residents of North Sophia to Success, East Coast Demerara (ECD) are experiencing an interruption in the supply of electricity.
According to the Guyana Power and Light (GPL), this is due to a feeder trip.
Also, residents from Victoria to Mahaicony are experiencing an interruption in the supply of electricity due to burnt line hardware on the network.
GPL said as a result of the inclement weather being experienced across Guyana’s Coast, its efforts to perform remedial work is partially hindered, however, the power company said technicians have been deployed across these affected areas working within the ambit of safety and apologises for the inconvenience caused.
