West Indies piled up 421 against New Zealand in a World Cup warm-up fixture at Bristol on Tuesday. New Zealand won the toss and elected to field first, a decision that backfired badly as the Caribbean side took advantage of the small boundaries.

Shai Hope continued his rich form with 101 off 86 balls (9x4s, 4x6s), before Andre Russell blazed 54 off 25 balls (7x4s, 3x6s). Evin Lewis stroked an even fifty, while Jason Holder cracked 47 off 32 and Chris Gayle walloped 36 off 22.

Trent Boult took 4-50 and Matt Henry 2-107.
