President of Ghana conferred with Guyana’s National Award

President of Ghana Mr Nana Akufo-Addo has been conferred with Guyana’s National Award – the Order of Excellence.

The Order of Excellence was established in 1970 and is only available to 25 living individuals and can be conferred on persons of national and international significance.

Mr Akufo-Addo was presented with the award from Guyana in recognition of his demonstrated commitment to the Commonwealth, the organisation of West African states and for his unflinching support to the development of developing states.

President Granger called Mr Akufo-Addo a friend and brother of Guyana.
