PPP stalwart and former head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon is a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital, the News Room has confirmed.
When contacted, Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo told the News Room that Dr Luncheon has been “in and out [of the hospital] for the last couple of weeks.”
Mr Jagdeo could not say the reason for Dr Luncheon being rushed to the public health institution.
In 2014, Dr Luncheon confirmed that he is suffering from gastrointestinal cancer, which has spread to some parts of his lungs.
