Post Mortem finds Security Guard died from fall

A post mortem examination on Wednesday revealed that the 60-year-old Keegan Boston who was found dead at his workplace Sunday, died as a result of blunt trauma to the head consistent with a fall.

The News Room understands that the post mortem was done at the Georgetown Public Hospital mortuary by Dr Nehaul Singh.

Boston of East Ruimveldt, Georgetown was found inside his security hut where he worked at Cummings Electrical Company on Garnett Street in Campbellville, Georgetown.

An electrician attached to the company and another security guard, David Cummings, discovered Boston’s lifeless body lying on the ground in the security hut at about 06:30 hrs Sunday.

Cummings said he turned up to relieve Boston from working the night shift and he called out to him to open the gate but there was no response.

Police suspect that Boston died between 23:00hrs Saturday and 06:15hrs Sunday.
