Bandits drop cash, escape after coming under fire during robbery

Two bandits dropped their loot and ran for cover after a licensed firearm holder discharged several shots in the air when they robbed a pump attendant at the Sukpaul’s Gas Station in Springlands Corriverton Thursday morning.

The bandits, armed with a machete, attacked the employee at approximately 04:15 hrs.

A licensed firearm holder who observed what was happening fired serval shots in the air and the two quickly scampered off leaving most the cash behind.
