Two young men were burnt to death late Wednesday night when the car they were in toppled, crashed into a coconut tree and burst into flames.
Those dead have been identified as Danny Ross and Ajay [only name given] while a third person is reportedly in a critical condition.
The News Room understands that the accident occurred on the Fort Wellington Public Road on the West Coast of Berbice (WCB).
The car reportedly belongs to Ross’ sister and it is believed that he was driving at the time.
Both Ross and Ajay resided in Chester Village, WCB.
A relative of Ross told the News Room that the men were liming at a shop and crashed while reportedly heading home. The News Room will provide more information as it becomes available. (Isanella Patoir)
