U.S, Chilean Ambassadors inducted as honorary members to Rotary Club of Georgetown

U.S. Ambassador to Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch and Chilean Ambassador, Patricio Arturo Becker Marshall were inducted as honorary members to the Rotary Club of Georgetown.

The Club announced its new Board of Directors at its Installation Ceremony on Saturday at the Grand Savannah Suite, Pegasus Hotel.

Past District Governor, David Edwards served as the Key Note speaker and praised the Club for celebrating its 60th year in existence.

With over 1.2 million members around the world, Rotary International is known for its causes: Promoting Peace, Fighting Disease, Providing Clean Water, Saving Mothers and Children, Supporting Education and Growing Local Economies.

Peter Peroune and the new board 2019-2020 was sworn in with hundreds in attendance.
