A man so far identified as Leon Hescott was on Friday evening murdered in a house at Middle road, La Penitence, Georgetown.
The News Room understands that the man who appears to be in his early thirties was shot three times to the head.
The incident occurred at about 20:00hrs.
When the News Room visited the home, relatives were not in a position to speak with the media. However, one person related that Hescott was a friend of the suspect who has since fled the scene.
