A woman was on Wednesday sentenced to nine months in prison for damaging the windows of a car belonging to Attorney-at-law Donna Bailey.
Vanessa Schroder appeared before City Magistrate Faith McGusty and admitted that on July 31, 2019, at Hadfield Street, Georgetown, she maliciously damaged a car window valued $69,500, property of Bailey.
“I ain’t going back to prison before I got to bore up everybody,” Schroder told the Magistrate as she explained that she had served time behind bars before.
According to reports, Bailey is an Attorney associated with Hughes, Fields & Stoby office which is located at Hadfield street.
On the day in question, Bailey parked the car at her office and went inside when Schroder used a padlock to hit several parked cars, including Bailey’s.
Schroder, when arrested by the Police, explained that she was upset with the Attorneys since one of them is representing her brother who had wronged her.
