Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an accident at New Hope on the East Bank of Demerara which left several injured. There are also reports of multiple deaths but the News was unable to confirm.
Reports are that around 07:30hrs on Friday, a route 42 minibus was proceeding on the public road when it crashed into a pickup which was proceeding in the opposite direction.
