GPL circuits ‘trip’, Georgetown, East Bank, East Coast without power

The Guyana Power and Light Inc. says as a result of the inclement weather, a few circuits have tripped resulting in service interruptions in a number of areas in Georgetown, East Coast and East Bank Demerara.

According to GPL, teams have been dispatched to various locations to examine the network and carry out remedial works.

“The current weather condition may result in delays. GPL offers sincere apologies and seek your patience while our teams work to re-power all areas in the shortest possible time.”
