A man, who is so far unidentified, was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Sunday after he was shot by another man during what is alleged to be an argument on Hadfield and High St. Georgetown.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:50hrs and was captured on camera by persons in the area.
Preliminary information reaching the News Room revealed that the two men were involved in an argument during which the victim whipped out a gun and fired several shots in the air.
It is alleged that the victim attacked the other man, who then managed to disarm him (the victim).
According to reports, the perpetrator then took the gun, shot the man gun-butted him several times.
The video shows the perpetrator escaping in a silver 212 motorcar. Ranks of the Guyana Police Force arrived at the scene and took the injured man to the hospital.
