Guyanese players tested at CAREBACO Open International
The CAREBACO Open International quarter-finals were played on Thursday evening at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Barbados with the Guyanese players enduring a tough test against their counterparts.
However, national champion Priyanna Ramdhani, the reigning CAREBACO Under-19 Triple Champion, showed that she still has a lot left in the tank, securing a semi-final spot in the Ladies Doubles.
The 17-year-old teamed up with Sabrina Scott of Barbados to eke out another victory and stay alive in the competition.

Mixed Doubles: Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani lost to the number one seeded pair and Pan Am Games bronze medalist Howard Shu and Paula Lynn Obanana of USA: 21-13, 21-16
Mixed Doubles: Jonathan Mangra (Guyana) and Kathrine Winter (Jamaica) lost to the 3/4 seeded pair Fabrico Farias and Jaqueline Lima of Brazil: 21-9, 21-5
Men’s Doubles: Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra lost to Timothy Lam of USA and Antonio Li of Canada: 21-11, 21-14
Ladies Doubles: Priyanna Ramdhani (Guyana) and Sabrina Scott (Barbados) defeated Alana Bailey and Katherine Winter of Jamaica: 21-16, 22-20
The tournament continues on Friday evening with Priyanna Ramdhani playing in the Ladies Doubles semi-final.
