The body of a so far unidentified man was on Friday discovered on the eastern side of Sheriff Street, Georgetown in the vicinity of the Botanical Gardens.
According to information received, the male of East Indian descent who appears to be a destitute was found clad only in a cream vest.
The discovery was made by passersby at about 11:15hrs who called the Police to the scene.
The body was transported to the Lyken’s Funeral home.
