M&CC working to alleviate flooding in city

The Mayor and City Council of Georgetown has noted that certain parts of the municipality are currently inundated due to heavy rainfall, today.

Further, the Mayor and City Council advises that all pumps are operational and efficiently manned to ensure relief is meted assiduously out to our residents.

It must be considered that this occurrence was exacerbated by the afternoon tide which causes the drainage sluices to be closed.
