Singh, Duncan among winners at Seven Seas Indoor Archery competition

Archery Guyana last weekend hosted the inaugural Seven Seas Indoor Championship at the National Gymnasium with a decent turnout of competitors.

The title of best indoor archer was at stake in the various categories, and by the end of a rigorous competition, the various champions were crowned. Archers were split into Senior and Junior, Male and Female categories.

In the Senior Men’s division, Robert Singh captured gold, leaving Gamal Khan and Sean Duncan to settle for silver and bronze respectively.

Samira Duncan was the top female in the Senior category, taking home the gold medal, with Narda Mohamed claiming silver and Dolly Chambers bronze.

Talitha Kissoon and Jessica Callender took gold and silver respectively in the Junior Women’s division, while Isaac Baksh copped gold in the Junior Men’s category, leaving Ephraim Baksh to settle for silver.

Archery Guyana expressed thanks to Seven Seas for their corporate support and the competitors for their great showing at the one-day competition.
