Limacol Football final switched to October 20

Patrons would have to wait a little longer to find out who will be crowned champions of the fourth annual Limacol Football tournament, as the organisers have pushed back the championship game by a week.

“Please be advised that due to logistical issues we have decided to postpone the finals of the Limacol Football Tournament from 13^th October 2019 to Sunday 20^th October 2019 at the same venue,” the Petra Organisation said in a statement on Thursday.

The tournament, sponsored by the New GPC Inc. through its marque brand Limacol and WJ Enterprise’s Croxley Papers, has produced a much-anticipated final with two Under-20 teams set to compete for a senior football title.

Georgetown Under-20 sides Santos and Fruta Conquerors will do battle in the final, with the third place playoff being a tussle between Pele and Riddim Squad.

The games will be played at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
