Police are hunting for a 20-year-old man of Ocean Garden, Meten – Meer – Zorg West Coast Demerara (WCD) who murdered a 22-year-old in the same village on Sunday evening.
According to Police information, Noel Rampersaud, a fisherman, was stabbed several times to his body at about 20:00hrs on Sunday at Meten-Meer-Zorg.
He was rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said the two men had a misunderstanding about six days ago where Singh was assaulted. The two had another argument on Sunday which led to the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
