British riders Harry Truelove and Richard Cooper will make a return to South Dakota Circuit and are joined by countryman Daniel Linfoot for the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) International Race Meet on November 16 and 17.

Truelove competed under the Team Mohamed’s banner last year and got a first and second place in two races, crashing out in the other.

His brother Matt Truelove, who won the Caribbean Motor Racing Championships Superstock title in 2018, will not make a return this year, which paves room for Linfoot, who rides for TAG Yamaha in England.

The 31-year-old has been racing since 2002, and competes in the British Superbike championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1. He has progressed from 125cc bikes to Superbikes, riding in MotoGP 250cc, and World Supersport 600cc.

Additionally, the 36-year-old Cooper, who was the lone Superbike competitor last year, returns to recommence his quest for the circuit record, which stands at 32.978s set by Mark Maloney and his SR3 Radical last November. Matt Truelove previously held that record with 33.3 seconds.

Cooper’s fastest time was 33.592s during qualifying.

According to his official Facebook page, Cooper has been in fine form this season by winning the National Super stock title. He copped 11 first place finishes, seven second spots, one third and one fourth.

He stated, “Achieved everything we set out to do and did it in style. Can’t thank my team Buildbase Suzuki enough for all their efforts on track and behind closed doors. Thanks to all the team’s sponsors and my personal sponsors, it’s not possible without your help and I hope you have enjoyed it as much as me.”

Once again, the two-wheel should draw the attention of most given some top locals should make a return. It is understood there is a strong possibility Elliot Vieira will return from Canada to challenge to Team Mohamed’s, while locally based cousins Matthew Vieira and Stephen Vieira are prepping as well.

Nikhil ‘MadMax’ Seereeram is most likely expected to make a return, which adds to young talents, Kevin Persaud, Raviero Tucker and Heemand Boodhram.
