Police on the East Bank of Demerara, acting on intelligence, swooped down on the premises of a Sarah Johanna early Friday morning and seized a large quantity of pitbull minibus parts.
Police said the parts were suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained.
One person was arrested and is cooperating with investigators.
The News Room earlier reported that 13 persons were arrested during a raid at Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke-Linden Highway on Wednesday and a number of items believed to be stolen, were seized.
Several items suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained were seized at various locations including one motorcycle, five generators, two weeding machines, a number of mechanical tools, a number of car doors and other parts, one minibus shell and a 192 motor car shell.
