Days after being released from prison earlier this month, 20-year-old Rolex Williams is back in prison after he broke into a man’s home in Georgetown.

Williams of Eteringbang, Cuyuni River appeared before City Magistrate Faith McGusty and pleaded guilty to the charge which alleged that on November 8, 2019, at John Street, Georgetown he broke and entered the house of William Bobb with intent to commit a felony.

The court heard that on the day in question, Bobb arrived home and discovered several louvre panes missing from his windows.

The homeowner subsequently found Williams hiding in the toilet. Bobb contacted the Police and Williams was arrested.

The convict told the court that he broke into the house to find money so that he can pay transportation to Eteringbang.

Magistrate McGusty sentenced Williams to nine months imprisonment. Last year, Willaims was sentenced to one year behind bars for a similar charge.
