Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 24-year-old Seon Bobb of Agricola, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
Bobb was shot below his chin on Saturday night at Caesar Street Agricola, EBD.
Police said Bobb and another man, Daniel Webster of Lot 105 Ceasar Street, were involved in an altercation with two other persons identified as ‘Plucking’ and ‘Big Life’ at around 18:39hrs.
It is alleged that both ‘Plucking’ and ‘Big Life’ who were armed with handguns, discharged several rounds in the direction of Bobb and Webster who both received gunshot injuries.
Bobb received a gunshot injury below his chin while Daniel Webster received a gunshot injury to his right side chest.
They were both taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where Bobb was pronounced dead and Webster was admitted in a serious condition.
Police said a 30-year-old of Brutus Street was arrested while ‘Plucking’ and ‘Big Life’ are being sought.
