Police are investigating a suspected hit and run fatal accident which occurred early Monday, killing a 52-year-old man.
Dead is Raymond Cassal, a labourer of Lot 72 La Belle Alliance, Lima Sands Essequibo Coast.
Police said his body was discovered at about 03: 10 hrs lying on the Coffee Grove Public Road, Essequibo Coast.
The body bore multiple injuries and is presently at the Suddie Mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
