Guyana’s long wait for a regional 50-over title continues after they were booted from the 2019 Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup, losing to USA by nine runs in a rain-affected game at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

Without a title since 2005, Guyana failed to make it to the semi-final after being set a revised 222 to win under the Duckworth/Lewis/Stern method.

Also recording wins in the latest round of games were Canada and Trinidad and Tobago Red Force.
