Update: Kosmos owner killed in ECD accident

The owner of Kosmos Bar and Grill located at MovieTowne, East Coast Demerara, Dillon DeRamos was killed in a horrific accident Tuesday night.

The father of two was driving his SUV PTT 6775 when he lost control of the speeding car and crashed into the concrete fence of Yokohoma Trading at Liliendaal.

The vehicle is damaged beyond repair as a result of the accident. Another person, who was also inside the car, has since died. He was identified as Senior Superintendent Brian Eastman.

It is believed that the businessman died instantly while public-spirited persons desperately tried to remove Eastman who was trapped inside the wrecked SUV.

Details surrounding the accident are still unclear at this time.
