Trigger happy Security Guard at MovieTowne fined $15k
Damario Embrack firing his weapon
The young Security Guard who was caught on camera recklessly firing his gun while on duty pleaded guilty Thursday to discharging a loaded firearm in a public place.
Twenty-three-year old Damario Embrack of South Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where he admitted to committing the offence at the MovieTowne establishment on November 8.
He was fined $15,000. Embrack was attached to Sheriff Security Services and is a former member of the Guyana Defence Force; he was fired after the video of him firing the weapon went viral on social media.
