Another horrific accident on Guyana’s roadways has resulted in the deaths of four persons, including a 12-year-old girl identified as Maria Bisnauth along with a 29-year-old woman Ayesha Sealey.
The identities of the others are not yet known; the News Room understands that six persons were transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital where they remain in a critical condition.
The News Room understands that a Route 31 minibus was heading north along the Nismes West Bank Demerara public road to Georgetown when a car exited a gas station and ended-up in its path.
The bus driver, Hensley Alleyne attempted to dodge the car but ended up colliding with the car instead and careened off the road and into a trench.
The driver of the bus along with a 24-year-old employee of Pritipaul Singh Investments, Mark Anthony, are said to be in a critical condition.

Some eight persons have died and numerous injured in several accidents across the country since the beginning of the week.
