An accident between motorcycle CJ 6021 and a truck resulted in the death of a young motorcyclist in the vicinity of D’Aguiar and Rahaman’s Park on the East Bank Demerara Tuesday night.
Dead is 18-year-old Deshon Morris of East La Penitence, Georgetown. The News Room understands that Morris and a pillion rider rode into the path of the truck, TEE 6391.
They were not wearing any helmets and it is alleged that Morris was speeding.
Morris died at the scene of the accident while the pillion rider was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
